I’m still here

Hey everybody. I know it’s been FOREVER but I hope everyone is well.

I’ve had to cut down on my exercising because of pain- so, instead of exercising every day, it’s now more like two or three days…depending on my heath.

My mom and dad got me a Cubii for my birthday ( for anyone not familiar, you sit in a chair and there are straps for your feet and you can use it as a bike or an elliptical). I try to use it at least once a week and, though I’m only at Resistance 2, I’m able to do anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.

You can download an app that tracks your workouts and, since I’m always trying to better myself, I aim to add another five to ten minutes from my last workout session. Not only does this increase my stamina and keep the muscles in my legs strong, I also am still able to maintain my heart health.

As I’ve mentioned countless times in this blog since I was diagnosed with what is known as New Daily Persistent Headache- a constant headache that, for me, affects my face and ears as well, pain greatly reduces how active I can be ( yes, this includes impacting my walking ability), I’m thankful I have my Cubii.

So, now the challenge: pick one thing ( biking, going fifteen minutes longer on your evening walks, or just turning up the music in the house and bust a move while doing dishes), whatever you can do for 30 minutes, give or take, and commit to doing it at least one day a week Hint: create your own playlist so it doesn’t seem too daunting!
